Challenge
The client has come to eSol ExpertIT in need for a scalable web application to attack the Spanish tourism market with an free-to-use offer for small hotels and villas, offering them the ability to have an online booking system.
Approach
eSol ExpertIT has taken into account the dynamics of the market and also the concurrent offers already in place, and we have identified an important aspect witch has been exploited to create a better exposure: the need for simplicity of the search and bookings system, and also better interaction with hotels administrators.

| Project Understanding |
 |
An NDA (Non Disclosure Agreement) has been agreed and signed with the client, protecting both parts.
Several live conferences have enabled eSol ExpertIT and the client to draw up a "big picture" of the project, with the primary details in place.
The project manager has identified the technical requirements and programming aspects that needed to be taken under consideration and the technical strategy for the project has been established.

| Create Architecture |
 |
The architecture of the system has been build using the results of the first phase, and the results have been translated into the technical and functional specifications that have been the base for the project.
The main modules have been identified and the technologies to be used have been chosen.
After the client approved the graphics elements and mockups of the pages presented by the designers, the specifications were complete and
a final timeframe and completion date have been presented.

The application development and deployment was completed by a team of 3 programmers and 1 designer, under the leadership of the project manager.
Live conferences have been established with the client for complete insight into the project development.
The integration of the payment system has been considered of great importance by both eSol ExpertIT and the client, and special protection and validation scripts have been developed to assure full client protection and transaction security.
Test versions have been installed, and given the complexity of the project, extensive automated testing scripts have been created.

| Project delivery |
 |
The delivery of the project consisted of the following phases: installment of the scripts and graphic elements on the server; installment of the database and preliminary data; live testing for the Beta version; client training via live conferences, with presentation of the modules and case studies for each module; client feedback and final checkup procedures
Having the system go "live" has meant many clients have expressed their interest to participate, so a record number of hotels from Spain are using the system. As a result, many new features have been implemented, and support is offered at present times also.
